• High Compatibility: Featuring a cork-wrapped joint with a 20mm (0.79 in) insertion diameter, it is designed to fit standard shakuhachi flutes of the same size.

• Will It Fit Your Instrument? (Compatibility):
  This adaptor was designed based on the standard 1-shaku 8-sun (1.8 ft) Beginner's Shakuhachi Yuu. It may fit other custom PVC or bamboo flutes ONLY if their inner joint diameter exactly matches 20mm and the instrument length is 1 shaku 8 sun or longer. It will most likely not fit every generic instrument.

⚠️ Important Usage Notes

• Technique Limitations: Because this adapter mimics a recorder mouthpiece, traditional pitch-bending techniques like Meri (lowering the pitch) and Kari (raising the pitch) cannot be played while it is attached.
