The Kyoto Myoanji Denkyoku is the origin of the classical shakuhachi. 

In order to reveal the whole picture, we present an unprecedented project of 63 pieces, including 24 secret pieces never to be seen outside the temple, on 11 CDs performed by Shodo Sakai, the third generation headmaster of the Chikuho school, together with a score book (fuhoueya notation) of all the pieces! A separate commentary by Sagara Yasuyuki (Japanese only), the Myoan Shimpo style scholar, includes a comparison chart between the fuhoueya notation and the ro-tsu-re-chi notation, etc.
