Shakuhachi Mouthpiece for Beginners

About Shakuhachi Adaptor : You are able to practice the very basics such as finger placement and pentatonic-scale of the shakuhachi. Having said that, you are not able to play traditional shakuhachi techniques, i.e. Meri and Kari when this adapter is attached.

The adapter joint is covered with a piece of cork. Protruding’s dia. is 20mm =0.79in (51 / 64).

Other shakuhachi will also fit if this can be inserted.

This adaptor was designed in Japan based on the recorder flute.

NOTE: This item do not fit for "Glass Fibre Gen Shakuhachi 1.6." The diameter is too small. Works fine for Gen 1.8.
