Shomei jinashi is highly appraised by professional players such as Satoshi Shimura and Takeo Izumi.
<About Yukiware = Snow crack>
As you can see from the image, there are two cracks at the bamboo bottom which are specifically called "Yukiware," meaning "Snow crack."
Snow cracks are said to be occured by itself to withstand the weight of snow.
It's an industry term when a split in the bamboo occurs near the bottom.
Yukiware has been regarded as a "natural scenery."
These crakcs are not deep, so the air does not leak. 
Thick and sturdy bamboo which plays beautifully!

Remarks: Jinashi flute is not tuned to western scales.
It's a solo instrument which is not suitable for ensemble plays.
