What is the delivery time for orders?
Normal orders (items in stock) will ship within 48 hours from the ordered date.
Delivery time varies for special orders.
How do I order?
We offer two convenient ways to order: Online or by email.
You can place orders on our website using our secure online order form, which allows you to choose the payment option online.
Please note that our online checkout will not show shipping fees or local taxes.
If you need to know the exact postage cost, please contact us with the product name and quantity required. For information on local taxes, please contact your local post office or DHL.
Alternatively, you can place orders via email if the online checkout is inconvenient for you.

How do I pay?
The payment of your order is due in full at the point of purchase.
We accept PAYPAL or all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express.
We do not accept personal checks & payments from overseas banks.
If you do not have credit cards, you can make an transfer via Stripe, Inc.
However due to the monetary regulation, some countries cannot send money to Japan.

Is there a charge for sales tax?
Japanese residents are subject to a domestic consumption tax. However, orders shipped outside of Japan are exempt from this tax; instead, a processing fee of 5% will be applied. Please note that this processing fee is already included in the prices displayed on our website.

How will I be notified of my order status?
We communicate with our customers via email at various stages of the order process. It is essential that customers provide an accurate email address when placing their orders.
The first email is dispatched immediately after an order is submitted, confirming that your order is successfully recorded in our system. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam folder.
A second email will follow, providing you with your transaction URL. Once your payment has been successfully processed, a third email will be sent to inform you that your order has been shipped. This email will include your tracking number and the grand total of your purchase. Back to top

What if my payment is declined?
We will send an email within 48 business hours of placing your order to confirm whether the payment has been declined. This situation frequently occurs when a shopper makes a purchase from unfamiliar locations, particularly in foreign countries. As orders cannot be processed without successful payment, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact their card issuer to inquire about the reason for the declined payment. Back to top
Do you ship outside JAPAN?
We offer global shipping for our products. Orders dispatched from Japan are sent via DHL or EMS through Japan Post. Please note that shipping fees vary based on the weight of the package and the destination. Additionally, the quoted postage does not include any customs or duty charges that may be levied by the destination country on the recipient. Can I choose a shipping method other than DHL and EMS?
We currently only use EMS and DHL. Items destined for the EU and parts of Oceania must be shipped by DHL:

What is your return policy?
Defective items will be replaced at no extra cost. If breakage or damage has occurred "in shipping" please contact access 'at' mejiro-japan.com or call us immediately. Please describe the damage and request a replacement.
