This is a shawl-like robe made of Kinran worn by ancient Japanese Zen monks called Komuso.
As the name suggests, Japanese "Kinran," the gold brocade, is a traditional type of patterned fabric woven with gold or silver foil and gold or silver threads so that the pattern appears in relief.
Made in Japan with a golden fabric manufactured in Kyoto. Fully lined.
